Pastor Arlo Johnson

Six things that fear and faith have in common were discussed, six things that are contrasted between Fear and Faith were also pointed out.

The seminar concluded(Part 1) by referencing the conversation between God and Satan with respect to the life of Job. Job, in the face of almost insurmountable circumstances, continued to align himself with God, by the words of God rather than aligning himself with Satan and his words.

Job, from the thoughts of his mind, confessed with his mouth, the words of truth in harmony with the thoughts of God.

Remember Faith is the primary force in God's kingdom of light, Fear is the primary force in Satan's kingdom of darkness. Fear is the weapon that the kingdom of darkness uses to come against the kingdom of God. Faith is the weapon that the kingdom of light uses to come against the kingdom of darkness.

A study on faith using 1st Thessalonians as a backdrop/example. The founding of the Church at Thessalonica by Paul, Silas and Timonthy illustrates how the church at Thesselonica became a strong healthy body of believers. It was through leaders that were united by a common commitment to the Lordship of Christ, to the preaching of the Gospel and to the teaching of the Word of God that headway was made. Consequently, believers having been born into the Kingdom of God experienced that kingdom grow within them. Notice that the leadership of the church was not one person but many individuals, all working in unity as expressed by words like "we, us, and our". These particular words appear 133 times in the KJV.

Day 2 of Teaching Session

The church at Thessalonica was healthy because it was planted by a healthy ministry team, and it was continually nurtured by a caring committed team of gifted ministers, who whether present or absent, still found ways to strengthen these believer in their faith and love.

Day 2 Session

Romans 1: 5-6; 8-12

Mustard Seed Faith Hebrews 11:1 Faith is an inner substance that gives us an assurance that it will be done! God is calling us to use the faith that we have, (regardless of how small it is), not the faith that we wished we had!

If you will do what you can do, God will do what you cannot.

Expect that God will speak to you if you are willing to hear and when we take a faith action based on that which we hear, there will be a miracle in the making!
